GEOTECH is launching new special effect pigments 

Geopearl C Scattering Sun Gold

From April 4 - 6 the In-Cosmetics global took place in London and the European Coatings Show in Nuremberg. Traditionally these are one of the most interesting trade shows for cosmetic raw materials and coatings. This year GEOTECH launched several new innovative special effect pigments during these exhibitions.

The natural mica based Geopearl portfolio has been extended with the new Skylight series, Geopearl C Limonite and Geopearl C Mauve. The new Skylight series is especially developed for the cosmetic industry and contains 9 new warm, deep coloured pearlescent shades with a particle size distribution of 10-60 micron. The new Geopearl C Limonite is an addition to the coloured pearls range and provides a gorgeous deep brown pearlescent shade in 10-60 micron. The new Geopearl C Mauve is an addition to the metallic range creating a reddish pearlescent shade in a particle size of 10-60 micron.  

The synthetic mica based Geopearl Crystal portfolio is extended by a range of beautiful, intense warm Sun Gold shades in a variety of 5 particle sizes; 5 – 25 µm, 10 – 60 µm, 10 – 100 µm, 50 – 250 µm and 100 – 1000 µm. Furthermore a mesmerizing black pearl is added to the Geopearl Crystal portfolio; Geopearl Crystal Silk Black with a particle size distribution of 5-25 micron leaving a silky, deep black-blue shaded colour. 

Thanks to improved cutting technology we will introduce the iridescent Geocrystal R/R, R/G, B/G, B/V glitter products in a particle size of 50 micron (002 x 003). This effect is beautiful and provides new styling opportunities for a variety of applications. Used in topcoat systems over black it offers dramatic rainbow effects with elegant sparkle in nail products.

The well performing Geodiamond portfolio welcomes a complete new range of interference colours and Silver Ag in a smaller XS particle size distribution of 10 – 60 µm. These pigments are based on borosilicate flakes with a thickness of < 1 µm.
